Abstract

One of the goals of the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) is cooperation among member states to improve the health of the peoples of the Americas. Research collaboration is one such one way in which this goal is pursued. This presentation will describe the ways in which the Pan American Health Organization has fostered research collaboration in the area of disability and rehabilitation.
