Abstract: This literature review aims at analyzing the problems associated with functional assessment of patients with hemiplegia. The functional assessment was made using the Bobath, Brunnstrom, Fugl meyer and Jaasko Self-care principles in AVD. It was found that the patients recovery was fastest in the first three months. IT was also found that there was an agreement in the functional levels obtained by different assessment scales. (CIRRIE Abstract)
