Abstract: Article presenting results of the 1999 international survey of certification procedures in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The survey sought information about postgraduate training requirements, certification examinations, and the practice of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Forty-five countries responded to the survey, with 43 countries offering residency training, and 41 countries giving a certification examination. (Rehabdata Abstract)
