Abstract: This paper acknowledges the importance and need for providing technological facilities for improved communication abilities to the individuals with disabilities such as those with visual impairments, hearing impairments, and mobility impairments. However, at the same time the authors emphasize the current situation in Hungary where there is a shortage of telephone lines even for the general population. The possible solutions for the current day problems have been discussed. (CIRRIE Abstract)
