Abstract: Studies show that a high altitude climate such as Davos can effectively treat atopic dermatitis, other types of eczema and psoriasis, as well as allergic bronchial asthma. Improvement in dermatological findings are noticed, as well as medication reduction in corticosteriods and long-term effect. From one year follow up, results indicated a positive effect due to high-altitute climatotherapy for atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, contact dermatitis, and allergic bronchial asthma. Use of corticosteriods was also reduced right after treatment, after 12 months, and it also improves the quality of life.(CIRRIE Abstract
