Abstract: In this study, the authors evaluated different commercial wheelchairs with respect to their performance under various impact conditions. The authors also analyzed the differnt aspects of the wheelchair that provide a greater amount of wheelchair occupant safety during an impact in a motor vehicle. (CIRRIE Abstract)
