Coping with retirement: a comparitive and analytic study of retired nurses and dock workers.

Abstract: Retired nurses and dock workers in Jamaica were compared to examine the coping strategies used by each. Demographics and health levels were also compared. Both groups cited interpersonal relations as important in their ability to adjust. Results pointed out the necessity of preparing plans for future retirees. (CIRRIE Abstracts)
