Abstract: A model for treatment planning for residential institutions is described for child and youth care in the Netherlands. Model is designed for what best suits child care workers. The child's life becomes the critical focus of attention. Specific treatment plans for the children are outlined regarding evaluating the child's daily behavior and treatment provided by child care workers. Treatment plans concentrate on the child's problems and strong points, with active involvement of the worker in the development of the plans. (CIRRIE Abstract)
