The need for relapse prevention strategies in Top End remote indigenous mental health.

Abstract: The aim of this study was to define relapse prevention strategies in mental health isues in Australia and to improve mental health outcomes. The Australian Integrated Mental Health Initiative in the Northern Territory (AIMHI NT) sought views from practitionners and health care persnnel through semi-structured interviews. They suggest that the development of relapse prevention activities requires support from the community, consumers, care providers, service providers, the health system and the health policy.
